23.09.09 AMJ CAMPBELL SHORTY JENKINS CLASSIC RESULTS Marie-France, Nancy, Annie, Joëlle Hello to you dear fans, We finally started last weekend in Brockville. For the first tournament of the season, we asked Chantal Osborne to replace Annie. Chantal has agreed to be our 5th player this year and she has helped us during the weekend. A big thank you Chantal! We started the tournament with a victory against Rizzo followed by a defeat against Mattie. Subsequently, we won the next two games against teams Patti Lank and Allison Ross. With a record of 3 wins and one loss, we absolutely needed a victory against Eve Belisle because our shoot out was not really good, we knew that a record of 3 wins and 2 losses would be insufficient. We played good games for our first tournament, but the team of Eve has managed a few shots more important and we lost in extra-end. We were a little disappointed because it's always disappointing to lose, but very encouraged by the progress of our team. Our pre-match preparation, our communication and our releases and few other things we've already improved. It's very motivating for the next practices and upcoming tournaments. Off Ice Highlights: - Thanks to Katia and Philippe from PCW for our beautiful new jackets. We love them a lot. - We thank Joelle and Martin to have animated the dance floor Saturday night. We had lots of fun! Unfortunately, Joelle lost to the dancing machine. Bravo Mr. Crête to have won this challenge. Our Next tournament is in three weeks in Ottawa. New mom Annie will be back on the ice. We want to welcome the little Marie-Soleil, she is very nice and mom has already had the chance to throw some stones. Until then, practice, practice, practice! Team Larouche is getting set for a new season. We hope that our friends, family and fans had a great summer despite the strange weather.
